Everyone I know has told me that junior year is going to be the toughest and more complex years than all the others in high school. At the beginning I didn't believe them, but now that I am halfway through my junior year, I completely understand what they meant. This year has been one of the most time consuming and stressful, and I am now currently ranked twenty in my class with a 3.45 GPA. This year I have only done level 4's for three of my seven classes but they weren't for a full semester. I know that I could've pushed myself a lot more during the first semester. This semester I have been trying level fours for at least five of my classes. I have become more involved in clubs and extracurricular activities. I am VP of Key club, a member of Adventure club, excursion club and junior class. In the beginning of the year, I played my very first year of golf. Golf was very exciting and taught me many new things. I am currently playing softball. I have been playing softball my whole life, and I plan to keep on playing in the future. I have developed into a better person on and off the field because of softball. Junior year has had its ups and down but I am continuing to push myself and strive for greatness. With the help of my family, friends and teachers I have pursued many of my goals. I want to continue working for level fours and eventually get ready for college. My future college is University of Hawaii, I have wanted to go there since my seventh grade year, even though it is 2,400 miles away from home. My other options include Cal Lutheran, UC Riverside and Sonoma University. College is a big step forward, but only if I keep pushing myself I know I'll be able to handle the responsibilities that lie ahead.
